My little boy walked with this much earlier than eveything else we tried such as the vtec one. In our home we have tiles so we were worried about how stable and safe it would be but its been brilliant even when in lock mode it doesnt move to much for him. Everthing is at the right height and angle for his hands and the red grip is perfect as he has never slipped. I would rate this as 10/10 for stability, being fun and helping to encourage my boy to walk.

My little boy really likes this one...
We have tiles and so even in locked mode it does move too much for him and he is a little suspicious of trying to walk with it... only 9 months old... probably better on carpet... when you lean on it it feels a little unstable but I've tried damaging it on purpose and within reason it is fine... a small child can't break it...
Heloves the different noises it makes... and he even uses it as a music maker when doing something else... I saw him playing with a book beside it and each time th etune stopped he reached out to start it again...

I bought this toy for my then 9 month old twins. Both of them started out playing with the shapes, balls & music parts, then they started to walk with it. My twins are now almost 18 months old and, although they can both walk, they still love running around with it and putting the shapes in. The downside is that the music stopped playing when they push it around but apart from that, it's working fine and is a durable & transportable toy!

my year old twins find this a very helpful aid in trying to stand. when they're on their knees and getting strength to their feet the brakes help so they don't fall flat on their face, like others. the music and amusement are a distraction when they're bored trying to get to their feet.
